VICTORIA (VICKIE) MODJESKI (nee URBANSKI) 1922 2010 Sadly on November 5, 2010 at Beausejour Hospital, Vickie Modjeski, our loving mother and grandmother passed away at 88 years. Vickie was predeceased by her beloved husband Ed, of 53 years and her oldest son Don and will be dearly missed by her children, Gerry (Adele), Reg (Bev), Cathy (Dave); and grandchildren, Zak, Luke, David, Ashley, Graeme, Justine and Jack. Vickie was born to John and Katie Urbanski, she was the fourth of seven children. She married her husband Ed and together they made a home on the farm and raised their family. Vickie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her joy was in entertaining family and friends who were always welcome at Vickie's table. Throughout her life, Vickie was delighted when company would drop by. Her home was a gathering place for many family picnics and bonfires. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Campbell, the staff at Stoney Plains and to the doctors and nurses at Beausejour Hospital. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 10 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Atlantic Avenue, Beausejour, Manitoba.
