Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARINA DELIA HALEK (nee ALLARD) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Marina Halek at her home on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at the age of 75. Marina leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Joseph, of 46 years; children Lorelei, Loreen, and Harold (Patricia); grandson Jarret, granddaughter Delia, step-grandson Gage and step-granddaughter Phoenix; sisters Valma, Greta (Georges), Leona (Edward), Camelia (George), Zeta (Ron), Rosie (Edgar), and Gracia; brothers Adrian (Laurette) and Lionel; family friend Ed Lemko and in-laws, Jean (Mike), Gordon (Ester), Matt, Helen (Martin), Steve (Lorraine), Stan (Sarah), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Marina was a very loving and caring person who enjoyed spoiling all of her family. The family is ever so grateful for the support she has given them over the years. She was always there with a smile and open arms. Marina worked at Burns Food until she married. After raising her family she went to work for St. Amant Centre until her retirement in 1996. Marina became an active community and church volunteer, giving her utmost energy in helping, whether it required giving communion, cooking, baking or selling tickets. Comrade Marina was also a Legion member for over 15 years. Public viewing will be held on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in the St. Laurent Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Glen Lawn Memorial Garden on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Glen Lawn Funeral Home 982-7550
