Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMADELEINE MORRIS (nee ANSEEUW) July 10, 1918 - November 7, 2010 Our dear Mother passed away late Sunday, after being admitted to hospital that morning. After 92 years with us her dear Lord called her up to heaven. She is reunited with her family and her beloved mother, Romanie (Mimi) Anseeuw. She is survived by her two daughters, Doreen Bacon and Arleigh Morris. She has five grandsons, Jarett, Brett and Matthew Bacon, Daniel Gravenor and Stefan St. Godard, as well four great-grandchildren. Our Mother was raised on the Wilkes Avenue Dairy, along with her four siblings, Julien, Angela, Lucien and Georgina, only steps away from her home where she lived for over 60 years. Jake Martin was a special friend of Moms, whom she cared for deeply. He played the accordion (her favourite music) and Mom would sing along. Mom also loved her beer (us Belgians!), playing cards (Rummy everyday) and Bingo on Friday. But most of all, she loved being with her family. Special appreciation to Lori Deda and Sandy Kotz for the love and care they gave, as though she was their own. Madeleine will be buried beside her mother and father at Thomson In The Park, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., on Friday, November 12, 1:00 p.m. at a graveside ceremony. Refreshments will be served at 955 Centennial, after the service.
