Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNIE (NANCY) SWANSON With great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who passed away on November 6, 2010 at Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 84 years, with her family by her side. Nancy will be greatly missed by her children: Linda (Walter) Wrobleski, James Swanson, Craig (Kim) Swanson, Douglas Swanson, Debbie (Frank) Fiorentino, Kathy Hiebert, Sharon (John) St. Goddard and her son-in-law Gary Smith; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Predeceased by husband Carl (Art) Swanson and daughter Carla Smith. Nancy was born in Glasgow, Scotland on April 12, 1926. She was a war bride having married Dad (Art) in Glasgow, Scotland on October 26, 1945. When the war ended in 1946 she came to Canada. They lived and raised their eight children in the St. James area. Nancy was a kind, generous woman who dedicated her life to her family and created a warm and loving home. Thanks for the years you gave us MOM, for the good times that we shared. We only pray that when you left us you knew how much we cared. The family would like to thank Riverview Health Centre for their amazing, compassionate and loving care they provided to MOM over her last days. As well the W.R.H.A. Palliative Home Care program that attended to her needs at home during the last two and one half months. According to Mother's wishes there will be a private family memorial service on November 19. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB. MOM You only have one mother Loving kind and true No other friend in all the world Will be so true to you For all her love and kindness She asked for nothing in return If all the world deserted us To our mother we could turn For those of you who have a mother Treasure her with care For you will never know her value Till you see that she's not there To hear her voice, to see her smile To sit and talk with her awhile To be together in the same old way Would be our GREATEST wish today ALWAYS LOVED ALWAYS MISSED ALWAYS LOVED YOUR FAMILY Chapel Lawn 885-9715
