LOIS RUSSELL Peacefully on November 11, 2010, Lois Russell passed away at age 86. She was predeceased by husband James Desmond, son Rev. Robert Russell and granddaughter Laura Hope Dalton. She is survived by her children Kelly of Vancouver, John (Sheila) of Henderson, NV, Lorraine (Arthur) of Minnedosa, and Donald (Edna) of Landmark. She is also survived by grandchildren Denise Lundrigan; Maureen, Stephen, and Heather Russell; Jan, Andrew, and Mary Dalton; and Cynthia Russell. Lois was born in West Kildonan in 1925. She moved to Flin Flon in her early twenties where she met her beloved husband Des. Together they moved to Eldorado, SK, and started a family before moving back to Winnipeg in 1956. Mom enjoyed gardening, reading, travelling, and Bible Studies. Her final years were spent happily at Lindenwood Terrace. The family would like to thank the staff of the Minnedosa Hospital for their kind care. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church (256 Smith St.), on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Winnipeg Harvest Food Bank.
