Highlights in her life include her volunteer position as Grace Hospital Auxiliary, President. Margaret spent over 25 years in the gift shop and was a Life Member of the Auxiliary. She has brought joy to many through the hundreds of sock monkeys, clowns and other crafts she created. She also volunteered as Isaac Brock Community Club canteen convener for a number of years. Margaret enjoyed curling and was President of the Thistle Ladies and Thistle Seniors Curling Leagues through which she also enjoyed golfing. A great memory is of Margaret and Tom traveling internationally to follow World Curling events. She enjoyed family get togethers and acknowledged close friends Florence Jagger, Eileen Ferguson, Toots Patterson and many other friends. We will all have cherished memories; some happy, sad, humourous. Her thrift and forthright manner could be a challenge, but it enabled her to maintain her independence for many years. Flowers graciously declined - if so desired, donations may be made in Margaret's memory to the Grace Hospital Foundation, 300 Booth Drive, Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7.
