EVELYN SCHOENBERGER (nee GERMAN) Peacefully on Wednesday, November 10, 2010, Evelyn passed away with her family by her side, at the Beausejour Hospital, at the age of 74 years. Evelyn will be sadly missed by her husband Ernie, of 52 years of marriage; children, Lori (Leonard), Gary (Cindy), Connie (Pat), Iris (Randy), Stuart (Bev), Shelly (Travis); 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Elsie (Dan) and Frieda (Rudy); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Bill German (Margaret). On Wednesday, November 17, 2010, Evelyn's Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in Zion Lutheran Church, 403 - 1st Street N., Beausejour, Manitoba. Interment will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of the Beausejour Hospital and CancerCare Selkirk for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations in Evelyn's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
