SHERRI PATRICIA WOJCIK (nee HUNTER) August 12, 1960 - November 11, 2010 On Thursday, November 11, 2010, surrounded by family and friends, we lost Sherri, the center of our lives. Sherri was a devoted wife to her husband, Peter; a cherished mother to her children Cory (Heather), Matthew and Kaleigh (Darren); an adored grandmother to Mackenzie and Logan; a loving daughter to Ivan, Pat and daughter-in-law to Nellie and John; a supportive sister to Rhonda, Darren (Debbie), Dean (Sharon), and brothers-in-law, Mike (Pat), Gerry (Roberta); an unforgettable aunt to countless nieces and nephews; and a fabulous friend to many. Sherri touched the lives of many people by lending a supportive ear, demonstrating strength and courage through times of personal struggle, or doing what she did best, making people laugh. On Thursday, November 18, 2010 a Celebration of Sherri's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Army Navy Legion, 3584 Portage Avenue. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Harris and the nurses at Grace Hospital CancerCare. In lieu of flowers, all donations can be made to the Grace Hospital CancerCare, 300 Booth Drive, Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7. Sherri, we will never forget you. You are our angel. You were FABULOUS. When tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand, and said my place was ready in heaven above and that I'd have to leave behind all those that I love. So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, please know I'm in your heart.
