Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryREV. FRANK K. ISAAC It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Frank K. Isaac of Winnipeg, Manitoba on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at the Concordia Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Susan (nee Toews); two daughters, Carole Klassen (Harry), Kathy Shore (Jerry); and one son Paul Isaac, seven grandchildren and their spouses, and nine great-grandchildren and one brother Menno. He was predeceased by two children in infancy, his parents, two brothers and two sisters. Born on March 24, 1923 in Schoeneberg, Ukraine to parents, Franz and Agenetha Isaac, he immigrated to Canada in 1925 with his family and settled in the Silberfeld district near Gretna, Manitoba. Frank began his teaching career in Lowe Farm and taught in the Shakespear School District, and later in Steinbach. He later entered the ministry and pastored in the Niverville Mennonite Church, the Steinbach Mennonite Church and in Winnipeg at the Springfield Heights Mennonite Church. After retirement Frank and Susan took an assignment under MCC in Germany. Upon return Frank truly enjoyed many years as a voluntary chaplain in several hospitals and doing visitations for seniors through his local church. A funeral service will be held at the Springfield Heights Mennonite Church, 570 Sharron Bay, on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. with viewing at the church on Wednesday, November 17 at 7:00 p.m. and prior to the service.
