NETTIE (AGANETHA) KRAHN September 9, 1933 - November 12, 2010 Mom silently slipped away with her family by her side at the age of 77. Nettie was predeceased by her twin grandsons Nikolaus and Noah in 2001 and her son-in-law, Bryan Paterson (46) in 2009. She is survived by her husband Walter, son Gerry (Jackie), daughter Barb (Bryan), son Richard (Michelle), son James (special friend Shannon); grandchildren Jeff, Logan, Caitlin, Brendan, Kristin; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Mom worked hard over the years as a nurses aide at Central Park Lodge until retirement in 1992. Mom loved to be outside and absolutely loved her garden and roses. She loved our father deeply and Mom, you will be missed so much by all. A kinder person you would not meet. Many thanks to all the people that helped Mom through her many battles. And a big thank you to the staff at the Victoira Hospital you made it a little easier to deal with as you are a kind and caring group of people. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethel Mennonite Church, 465 Stafford, Winnipeg, with brief reception. Committal service at the Froese Cemetery in Altona.
