MARIAN ISABEL IRLE (nee MCGAVIN) 1922 - 2010 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Marian Irle. She was born in Winnipeg, MB on January 4, 1922 at the Grace Hospital and lived in Winnipeg until 1986. Marian was predeceased by her son, Robin David Irle; her parents, Robert and Violet McGavin; her four brothers, Bob, Ross, Gordon and Jack; her sister May Greening. Marian is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robin (Rob) Irle; her two daughters, Jane (Denis) and Lesley (Lawrence); her five grandchildren, Lonnie (Mike), Kyle, Garth, Laura and Andra; and sister-in-law Betty Chiswell, plus many nieces and nephews. She was also blessed with four great-grandchildren, Jack, Lily, Ty and Deston. Marian was a very loving, caring and thoughtful person, who always put the needs of all family members ahead of her own. She also had many good friends, especially her bridge club and her curling group and all the new friends Rob and she made when they moved to Parksville, BC in 1986. A memorial service was held in Parksville, BC and there will be a service held in Winnipeg on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marian's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
