BESSIE KING EMENO (CRUICKSHANK) 1919 - 2010 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bessie King Emeno (Cruickshank) on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at the age of 91. Bessie was predeceased by her husband William Emeno, son William Emeno Jr., her sisters Ruby Giguere, Vi Gooding and Grace Ivey. She leaves to mourn her son Chris (wife Donna), daughter Dale Harrington (husband Neil); her precious grandchildren Kristin Wierenga (husband Adam), Christopher and Michael Emeno, and Sara and Iain Harrington, as well as her great-grandchildren Sydney, Lucas and Venus; sisters Jennifer Woolston and Joan Thompson, several nieces and nephews. She met and married Bill after the war and they enjoyed their life together in River Heights, Winnipeg Beach and Dayton Beach, FL. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She taught them the importance of kindness, generosity, tolerance and the value of a sense of humour. There will be a celebration of Bessie's life on Saturday, November 20 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. In lieu of flowers a donation to the St. Boniface Hospital to recognize the amazing care given to our mother during her last 4 days of life would be greatly appreciated. http://www.saintboniface.ca/ The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E.
