Luetta was predeceased by her husband Bob and daughter Karen. Luetta was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was the happiest when surrounded by her family. She liked nothing more than having all the kids and grandchildren over on Sunday where she would cook the meal and then sit and knit while the conversation went on around her. All the grandchildren loved to have Grandma cookies as a special treat. After the death of her husband Bob, Luetta traveled around Canada visiting friends and relatives. She was also a volunteer at Concordia Hospital and she did this for 25 years. As well, she was a knitter and contributed to the Christmas Cheer Board in this way for many years.
