Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySOPHAL LEAK October 15, 1957 - November 17, 2010 It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Sophal Leak. Sophal was born in Cambodia and was predeceased by his father Kuoy. Sophal leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 26 years, Sideth Long and children, Anyta, Sunny and Daraya. He also leaves to mourn his mother and six siblings in Cambodia, along with many friends in Winnipeg. Before migrating to Canada in 1985, Sophal served as a Commander in the Cambodian Military and for the past 13 years he was a diligent and loyal employee of Western Construction Services Inc. The family wishes to thank Mr. Marc Rajotte and the entire Western Construction family for their kindness, support and generosity during Sophal's illness and passing. Thanks also goes to the WRHA Palliative Care doctors and nurses for their compassion and care during Sophal's final days. The funeral service of Sophal Leak takes place on Sunday, November 21 at 3:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg. A private cremation and interment will follow.
