DOREEN LOUISE CECILE SWEERS Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen Louise Cecile Sweers. Doreen passed away on November 17, 2010 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 68 years. Remaining to forever cherish Doreen's memory is her brother Robert Sweers and sister-in-law, Kim; sister Carol Buckley and brother-in-law Ernie Jolicoeur; four nieces; and four nephews. Doreen was predeceased by her father, John Sweers; and mother, Edna Sweers (nee Payne); sister Edna Jolicoeur; and brother John Sweers. A special thank you to all the staff at St. Boniface General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doreen's memory may be made to CancerCare, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3E 0V9.
