Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDNA ELIZABETH ADAMS The death of Edna Elizabeth Adams occurred on November 17, 2010 at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg. Edna was born in Treherne, Manitoba on March 1, 1919, the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. S.W. Flack. She was a resident of Winnipeg since 1937. Her working years were spent as an executive secretary for several firms in the city. In 1946 Edna was married to George Henry Adams, who then predeceased her in 1975. Her three siblings have also predeceased her. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Edna was a member of St. Stephens Broadway United Church for many years. It was there that George and Edna met and were married. Edna had a strong and abiding faith and no fear of death. Her ashes will be placed beside those of her beloved George. It was Edna's wish that no memorial service be held. Life is a scenario written and directed by God, unfolding scene by scene and act by act. Some are comedy, some are tragedy, God knows what scene will follow after scene as the plot unfolds, but I must play them blind with only faith to be my guide. E. E. Aunt Edna and Uncle George were my god parents. I remember newpapers on the floor and play dough to play with when we visited them on Lipton Street. She didn't stay in touch much during her later years; however, she played a major part of my growing up years. I will miss you Aunty Edna. - Posted by: Lois Moss (Hanson) (God Daughter) on: Jul 10, 2013
