MARJORIE MURIEL JOYAL (nee PHILLIPS) September 30, 1921 November 18, 2010 Peacefully, at the Simkin Centre, with family by her side, Mom passed away at the age of 89. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Diane Kramble (Barry) and Christine Kodak (David); her grandchildren, Barry (Lada), Barb Nightingale (Keith), Ashley (Eric), and Brett (Sloane); her great-grandchildren, Katerina, Alexia, Isaac, and Quinn; her sister Joan Byers (Bob), niece Cathy (Tim), and nephew Ron. Mom was predeceased by her husband Albert (Babe), as well as her brother Ronald, mother Mabel, and father Samuel. Born in Transcona, Mom was fiercely proud of her Town . She worked for the City of Transcona taxation department, and later the City of Winnipeg, retiring in 1982. Our family would like to sincerely thank the staff at the Simkin Centre (where she was affectionately known as Miss Transcona ) for their incredible care and support during her stay. A celebration of Mom's life will take place at the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Ave. West on Monday, November 22 at 1:00 p.m. Flowers are gratefully declined.
