BRIAN WILLIAMS September 22, 1936 - November 5, 2010 After a short illness, Brian passed away on November 5, 2010 at the Health Sciences Centre. Brian will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 50 years Cathy; son Simon (Verva); daughter Audrey. Brian will also be missed by many friends here in Canada as well as relatives and friends in England. In 1968 Brian came to Canada with his family and settled in Winnipeg in 1974. He retired in 1996 from Manitoba Hydro. He lived life to the fullest. Brian loved to travel, go for long walks, cycle, read, and play chess. He never backed away from a challenge. Right up to the end, he fought with everything he had. The family would like to thank the staff at Health Sciences Centre especially those in the SICU ward. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Brian's name may be made to the Salvation Army. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
