KENNETH LEVERTT TAYLOR August 22, 1925 - November 10, 2010 Although we are saddened by the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather in the Minnedosa Hospital, we are comforted he is now pain free. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Marie (Marge), of 62 years; daughter Melynda, son Gary (Heather); his grandchildren, Melina, Kevin (Theresa), Chad (Lana), Christopher (Valerie); great-grandchildren Alyssa, Ashtyn, Jade, Colby and Kyra. He always loved his many pets and his cat will miss her treats and cuddling by Dad. He worked until his 80s at the Winnipeg Free Press as a contractor where he made many friends and enjoyed every minute while at work. Curling at the Heather Curling Club and with the A.N.A.F. where winning or losing wasn't important just enjoying the game and people, although he won a few trophies. Another favourite pastime was the casino where he only took $20 (but we knew different), all the floor workers enjoyed his joking. He was a people person with a great sense of humour and everyone who knew him will miss his wittiness. The family would like to thank the staff and doctors at CancerCare Manitoba and the Minnedosa Hospital for their kind care. In keeping with Dad's wishes, there will be no service and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ken's memory to CancerCare Manitoba.
