ANDREA BANNISH (LAJEUNESSE JUNGKIND) It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of our precious Andi. Left to cherish her memory are her parents Karen and Karl Jungkind, her long time love and recent husband of five weeks Daniel Bannish, his parents Barbara and Darrell Bannish, Danny's brother Michael, wife Amy and their son Ross as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends...and Katie and Stewart her cats. Andi was predeceased by her maternal grandparents John and Gail Madill, Grandma Jungkind, her Aunty Terri, Aunty Lina, and before her birth by her father Hank Lajeunesse. Andi was born on December 10, 1981 in Winnipeg and spent her first few years between Fort St. John and Winnipeg. In 1984 Andi and her mom met Karl Jungkind and together they became a family in Lockport, MB. Andi attended school in St. Andrews, Lockport and Selkirk then on to the University of Manitoba where she earned her pre-masters in Archival Studies, sparking a passion for her own family's histories. Andi worked at Half Moon Drive-Inn, the Paint Department of Home Hardware, Pineridge Hollow, and most recently at Northway Aviation making many lasting friendships. An avid traveller, Andi was looking forward to sharing her love of travel with Danny. Creative and talented, Andi loved renovating, decorating, crafting greeting cards and scrapbooking. Andi and Danny's recent wedding was a beautiful example of the many talents she possessed. She also loved knitting, gardening and entertaining friends and family. Caring, fun loving and fiercely loyal, her beautiful smile and wonderful laughter are only a few of the many ways we will remember our Andi. You gave meaning to our lives, you are our inspiration. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at the Good Sheppard Lutheran Church in Selkirk, MB on Highway 9A. Viewing will take place one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3 or a charity of one's choice.
