AGNES ISAAK (nee LOEWEN) 1925 - 2010 On November 21, 2010, surrounded by the love of her husband and family, Agnes Isaak passed peacefully to her eternal rest. She is survived by her loving husband John, and children: Walter, Irmgard (Al) Friesen and daughter-in-law Bonnie Isaak. Also left to mourn are her seven grandchildren: Nathan (Alanna), Tristan (Angela), Rachel, Kurtis, Natalie (Helder), Christopher (Jade), Blake (Millie) and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son John in 2006. Agnes was devoted to her family, friends and church. She was well known for her hospitality, cooking, baking, and her home was filled with wonderful aromas, laughter and love. Knitting, sewing and quilting were hobbies and many of us benefited from her handiwork. She was an avid gardener and spent many hours pruning, planting and harvesting her crops. In hard times and in good times her devotion to her faith never failed. In the true spirit of the pioneers, Agnes carved out her path and her legacy will live on and not be forgotten. Visitation and Devotional will be held 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Friends Funeral Home, 2146 Main Street. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 26, 2010 at the North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church, 1315 Gateway Road. Interment will be held in Green Acres Cemetery.
