BEATRICE PEARL LANE (Formerly SONES) (nee PATERSON) 1930 - 2010 After a lengthy fight against heart disease and lung disease, Bea followed the road home to her Lord. She was predeceased by her husband Jack, mother Frances, father Frederick, three brothers, three sisters, two sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, one son-in-law and one grandson. Bea is survived by her daughters; Sharon (Raymond), Alana (James), grandchildren; Dawn (Chris), Mike (Dr. Kristin), Rick; great-granddaughters and Joy, Elizabeth, Daveney, Brooklyn and Madison. Brother Bill; sisters Dorothy (Walter), Pat, Diane (Keith); sister-in-law Sharon, along with many nieces and nephews. Her step-family Reverend Tessie Meadows, Robert (Linda) and Ken Lane; brother-in-law Bernard. Along with grandchildren; Mark (Brynn), Allan (Irene), Gord (Kathy), Rhonda (Sean), Karla (Bruce) along with their ten children. As well as many great friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 26, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. The family wishes to thank River East Access home care girls for their kindness to Bea. Also to Heritage Lodge Personal Care Home for providing Bea with a new appreciation of the great outdoors, for their respect and gentle caring. The family along with Bea wish to thank Dr. Tse Luk for 17 plus years of care, Dr. Rabson for 19 years of care, Dr. Pintin-Quezada, Dr. Maiti, and Dr. Lee of the Grace Hospital for their patience and care. The fabulous staff on 4 South, and finally the caring manner of the emergency room staff. Thank you to the many other great people for their love, concern and support over the years. The last thank you is to Nancy for all the gourmet meals and for responding to all of the 4:00 a.m. calls.
