Teenie, also fondly known, as Tiny and Stevie, was predeceased by her first husband Joe Stevenson, second husband Bill Patton and good friend and companion of several years, Malcolm MacKenzie. Tiny was born and raised in North Winnipeg, one of her fondest memories were her playing days, as a soft ball pitcher, for C.U.A.C. Ladies Senior Team, Winnipeg Champions in 1938. Thus in later years started her passion for the Toronto Blue Jays . She met Joe Stevenson in the late 1930s and they married on October 7, 1939, raising their two children on Rupertsland Avenue in West Kildonan in the 1950s. Mom started her career in retail with The Hudson's Bay Company in the late 1940s, now came the name Stevie fondly used by her friends and peers until her passing. In 1963 Stevie was offered the opportunity to transfer to Toronto to the new Bay Store at Eglington and Victoria Park Avenue, heading up the Home Accessories, Lamps and Pictures department. Stevie remained there until her retirement, this started her relationship with The Bay Girls for many outings over the years. With Joe's passing in 1972, Tiny became a widow at the age of 52. She then joined The Royal Canadian Legion, Brigadier O. M. Martin Branch 345. It was here that she met Bill Patton, they were married March 12, 1976. Tiny went on to enjoy the many friendships she developed at the legion also joining the Ladies Auxiliary, becoming a Life Member and one of her proudest achievements was her involvement with The Poppy Program. Tiny was again a widow when Bill passed away and in the middle 1990s formed a relationship with her friend Malcolm (Mac) which included many trips to different parts of the world. After Mac's passing, Tiny moved to Cassandra Boulevard in North York where she resided until late June of this year. Tiny filled her time between the Legion and Harmony Hall, which opened a new chapter in her life as a travel coordinator, planning Day Trips to the casinos and to other spots in Canada and U.S. for the members to get away and enjoy. Mom also enjoyed every opportunity to visit her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and take in all the events the young ones were participating in. The family would like to especially thank her good friend of almost 50 years, Jean McGregor, for her companionship, caring and being there for Mom as her health began to fade in early 2010. Also a thank you to Mom's caring neighbour and friend, Eunice Sheffield and her family. We would also like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff at Extendicare Scarborough.
