DAVID ALFRED ADAMS 1943 - 2010 It is with deep sadness that we announce Dave had passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of November 12, 2010. He displayed amazing strength and perseverance while battling cancer, but still showing compassion for others right to the very end. Dave was predeceased by his mother Bonnie in 1997 and his father Bill in 2002. Dave will be missed by cousins, Lloyd (Brenda) Harris and Lynne (Philip) Kotyluk, and especially by his many loyal and long-time friends, some of whom he remained close to for the last five decades. Dave had worked for over 38 years with the City of Winnipeg and since his retirement his life revolved around renovating his home, socializing with friends, frequently golfing, emailing friends and traveling. He was always willing to lend a helping hand when asked. He was a current member of Larters Golf Club and a long-time member of the West Kildonan Legion where he enjoyed many hours with friends. In accordance with Dave's expressed wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
