VIOLET MARY CARPENTER December 5, 1924 - November 22, 2010 It is with deep regret and sadness that we announce the passing of Violet Mary Carpenter of Winnipeg, MB on November 22, 2010. She passed away peacefully in St. Paul, AB. Violet will be lovingly remembered by her son Paul Carpenter (Louise) of St. Paul, AB; grandson Allan of St. Paul, AB; and two granddaughters: Danielle of Cairns, Australia and Michelle (fiance Jamison Kissel) of Edmonton, AB; brother-in-law William Hughes of Winnipeg, MB; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Faris and Betty Carpenter, both of Winnipeg, MB; a special cousin Orla Orr of Winnipeg, MB. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Violet was predeceased by her husband Cornelius Carpenter; parents, Elizabeth and James McClintock; brother Archie McClintock; and sister Margaret Hughes. Cremation has taken place and in compliance with Violet's wishes, there will be no formal service. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, friends and family who wish to make a donation in Violet's memory, can do so to a charity of their choice.
