JAMES B. WEBSTER 1921 - 2010 It is with great sadness the family of Jim Webster, beloved husband to Evelyn for 68 years, announces his passing on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at the Selkirk General Hospital at the age of 89 years after a long, hard battle of cancer. Jim is predeceased by his parents Josephine and George, brothers Vincent (Molly), Allen (Phyllis), Dave, sisters Virginia (Ted), Doris (Walt) and sister-in-law Doreen. Jim is survived by his wife Evelyn, brother Andy, sister-in-law Joan, many nieces, nephews and friends. Jim served with the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada. He was manager of Globe Envelopes until his retirement. Jim was a member of the Selkirk Legion, he loved to travel, most of all to his favourite place Hawaii. The family would like to thank Palliative Care Manitoba and his special nurses at the Selkirk General Hospital for their care and compassion of Jim. Donations may be made in Jim's memory to War Amputations of Canada, Manitoba Branch, 1 Maybrook Dr., Scarborough, ON M1V 5K9, or to CancerCare Manitoba, ON1160 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. As per Jim's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Jim will be laid to rest in the Peace Niche at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
