Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOMENICA MARIA ZINGHINI October 10, 1925 - November 25, 2010 Suddenly, on Thursday, November 25, 2010, with her family at her side, Domenica Zinghini passed away at the age of 85. Domenica was predeceased by her husband Domenico and granddaughter Daniela. She is survived by her daughter Connie; son Tony and wife Angela; grandson Nick; sisters Anna (Tony) Franceschetti and Imma (Gregorio) Cantafio of Winnipeg; sister Maria (Bruno) Franceschetti, brothers Giuseppe (Maria) Staltari, Salvatore Staltari, and Antonio (Luciana) Staltari all living in Italy. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Pierina LaRosa, Angela Zinghini, and brother-in-law Carmelo (Francesca) Zinghini as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Domenica was born on October 10, 1925 in Gerace, Province of Reggio, Calabria, Italy. She left her family in Italy in 1949 to come to Canada and be reunited with Domenico Zinghini, her true love, whom she married in June of 1949. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who taught her family by example the real meaning of unconditional love and absolute faith in God. Mom was a very positive influence on her family, always kind, generous, loving and supportive. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and it gave her great pleasure to share with family and friends. Prayers will be said on Monday, November 29 at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 30 at 10:00 a.m. also at the church with Father Sam Argenziano presiding. Entombment will follow at Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley Street. Pallbearers will be Nick Zinghini, Arturo Zinghini, Domenic Cantafio, Robert Cantafio, Paul Cantafio and Franco Aiello.
