DOUGLAS GRANT NEIL 1935 - 2010 After a courageous battle with cancer, Dad peacefully passed away on November 22, 2010, with his family by his side. Dad is survived by his wife Edna, his four children; Karen (Rik), Michael (Debbie), Deborah (Richard), and Robert (Colette), John (Laura) the grandson Dad raised, daughter-in-law Wendy and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dad's passions in life were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, with whom he would spend many hours rocking and singing to. Dad loved to cook and bake and would spend his summers fishing and camping. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dads Angel Wendy and her family for her care and compassion during his last five years. Donations in Dad's name can be made to Palliative Care at the Riverview Health Care Center for their kindness and support during our difficult time. Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will be held.
