SHINOBU JAMES MIYAI Peacefully, Jimmy passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Grace General Hospital. Jimmy was born in Steveston, BC on May 12, 1929. He was predeceased by his parents Kumaye and Genkichi Miyai, brothers Hidetake, Terry, Saburo, Frank and sister Chiyo Shimane. He is survived by his brother Mas (Naomi) Miyai; nephews Grant (Michele), Wesley (Lai), Paul, Robert (Jackie) and Allan (Michelle). A private family service and interment of ashes will take place at a later date. Family wish to thank Myrna Garcia for her care and many friends at Garcia Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace General Hospital, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7, Manitoba Buddhist Temple, 39 Tecumseh St., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0J8 or charity of your choice.
