BEVERLEY CATHERINE JOYCE 1936 - 2010 After a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease, Beverley Catherine Joyce passed away peacefully at the Willow Creek Continuous Care Centre in Claresholm, AB on Saturday evening, November 27, 2010. Bev leaves to mourn her husband Hugh; daughter Heather (Murray) Cunningham and granddaughters Molly and Erin of Lloydminster, AB; son Keith (Cheryl) Joyce and grandchildren Cole and Megan of High River, AB; son Greg (Cheryl) Joyce and grandchildren Emily and Nolan of Calgary, AB. Bev is predeceased by her parents Steve and Jane Joss and brother Murray of Winnipeg, MB. She is survived by her sisters Isabel Donaldson and Brenda (Lawrence) Ellerby of Winnipeg, MB; brother-in-law, Bob (Kathy) Joyce of Winnipeg, MB; sister-in-law Janet Pearl (Neal) Hand of Morden, MB and numerous nieces and nephews. Bev was born July 27, 1936 in Fort Garry, MB. She attended high school at St. Mary's Academy in Winnipeg. She went on to work in the purchasing department at Macleod's Hardware in Winnipeg. She married Hugh October 31, 1959 at St. Vital United Church in Winnipeg. Bev spent the last three and one half years at Willow Creek Continuous Care Centre. The family would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the staff for the love and comfort extended to Bev during her stay. The family also wishes to express our thanks to the numerous relatives and friends who have contacted us with their condolences. Bev was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at the High River United Church, 123 Macleod Trail S.W. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre, 4221 8th Street West, Claresholm, AB T0L 0T0 or to the charity of one's choice.
