Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOYCE ANNA LOUISE BLANCHETTE It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother and Nana on November 25, 2010 at Golden West Centennial Lodge at the age of 80 years. She was predeceased by her husband, John, parents Ben and Anna, and brother, Norman. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her children: Diane (Doug), Joan (Bob), Fred (Bonnie), and grandchildren: Michelle (Tristen), Daniel, Andrew, Amanda, Jackie, Paul, Luke, and great-grandson Seth. Joyce was born on January 28, 1930 in Winnipeg. Everyone knew Joyce by her outgoing nature and fun loving personality. She brought a sense of humour and love to all who came into her life. First and foremost was the love she had for her family and friends. Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, friend and nana. Her favourite pastimes were cooking, traveling, bowling, bingo and accompanying John to the many antique car club functions. Joyce had a variety of jobs throughout her career. During her employment with Indian Affairs she made many long lasting friendships which endured beyond retirement. Heartfelt thanks go out to all of the staff at Golden West and Poseidon Care Centre for the compassionate and loving care they showed Mom. A celebration of Joyce's life will be held on Saturday, December 4, at 1:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Ave. (across from Brookside Cemetery). If desired, donations may be made in Joyce's memory to the Golden West Centennial Lodge, 811 School Road, Winnipeg, MB R2Y 0S8. You have left us the richest legacy of love, inspiration, and kindness with your incredible zest for life. NEIL BARDAL INC. FUNERAL CENTRE (204) 949-2200 nbardal.mb.ca
