Mom was a hard worker, she always had a huge vegetable garden where she spent many hours working in the garden picking vegetables. Then she would walk to Winnipeg Beach to sell them. Mom's hobbies were knitting, crocheting, crafts and her flower garden. She traveled with her daughters to Florida; to Texas with Mike, Helen and Eileen and short family trips to Red Lake, ON, Moose Jaw, Calgary and North Dakota. Family was very important to Mom, all special occasions were always spent with Mom by our side. She loved to bake and share her baking with us.
