ANNE BROWSKY It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother and grandmother on November 30, 2010 at the age of 98 years at Lions Manor. Anne was predeceased by her husband Frank and son Jerry. She leaves to mourn her passing daughter-in-law Shirley, grandsons Mark (Tracy) and Christopher, niece Sharron as well as many other nieces and nephews. Anne was born in Libau, MB. After Anne and Frank were married they settled in St. Vital where she raised her son Jerry and resided there until her later years. She then moved to Lions Manor where she met new friends and made a new home for herself. As we celebrate her life we can never forget her kindness, positive attitude and great sense of humour. She was a talented homemaker and enjoyed knitting as well as bingo and dancing. She worked for many years at the Paddlewheel restaurant at The Bay. The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at Lions Manor for your care and compassion over the past 10 years. You were like family to her. Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. A private family service will be held at a later date. If friends so desire, donations in Anne's name may be made to Lions Housing Centre, 320 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2W6.
