IRVINE (IVY) PETERS Irvine (Ivy) Peters passed away on December 2, 2010 at Calvary Place Care Home at the age of 84 years. Ivy was already deaf and blind before losing her voice, her last words to us was this little song: Thank you Lord for saving my soul, Thank you Lord for making me whole. Thank you Lord for giving to me, Your great salvation to make me free. She leaves her husband of almost 60 years, Jake; four children Wendy (Jeff), Walter (Barbara), Wayne, and Will. She also leaves behind four grandchildren Jason, Cheralyn, Tiffany, Breanna; and one great-grandchild, Noah. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Calvary Place Care Home, 325 Erin Street, Winnipeg, MB R3E 3R6. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
