Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERTHA KETSMAN (nee ROELS) Peacefully at the Notre Dame Foyer on Thursday, December 2, 2010, Mrs. Bertha Ketsman of Swan Lake, Manitoba, passed away at the age of 98 years. She leaves to mourn her passing her only son Henry (Johanne) Ketsman; four grandsons Darcy (Sarah), Michel (Lindsay), Patrick and Alex (Veronica); four great-grandchildren Manon, Miller, Grace and Cooper. Also mourning her loss is one brother Prudend Roels; one sister-in-law Elodie Roels; as well as many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Bertha was predeceased by her husband Gerard; parents Jan and Celesta (née De Rycke) Roels; by three brothers Bert, Urbain (Gertrude) and Urbain (at infancy) Roels; and one granddaughter Kara. Funeral services will be held in the St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church in Swan Lake, MB, on Monday, December 6, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. Recitation of the Rosary and Video Tribute at 1:45 followed by Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Parish Cemetery with Father Francis Eworo officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lorne Memorial Hospital, the Somerset Manor or the Notre Dame Foyer.
