WIEBE 1925 - 2010 Katherine Wiebe, age 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Steinbach. She was predeceased by her husband Diedrich (Dick) F. Wiebe in 2007. Left to cherish Katherine's memory are her children Edwin (Elnora), Larry (Lorraine), Debbie (Curtis), Rick (Heather), nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, December 7 at 7:00 p.m., devotional at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be held prior to the Memorial Service at Silberfeld Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8. Memorial Service will be held the same day at 2:00 p.m. at the Steinbach Chortitzer Mennonite Church, 479 Hanover St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Drive, Winnipeg, MB R3T 5K9.
