Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND ALEXANDER SIM It is with deep sorrow, after a lengthy battle with cancer, that the family of Raymond Alexander Sim announces his passing at the Ste. Anne Hospital on December 3, 2010 at 78 years. Raymond is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Doreen, his sister Joyce (Matt), his children, Brian (Carolyn), Robert (Joyce), Don (Carol), Wayne (Kathy), George (Lisa), Barry (Jackie), two sisters-in-law Helen (Bill) and June (Ernie), 18 wonderful grandchildren, five beautiful great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Raymond was predeceased by his father, mother and two sisters. Raymond was born in Winnipeg on January 28, 1932. He resided in Oakbank, Winnipeg and for the last 50 years, Giroux, MB. Though Raymond drove truck for 40 (plus) years, his heart and soul were really on the farm in Giroux. Raymond's family would like to thank Dr. Lemoine and the many nurses and staff at the Ste. Anne Hospital for the wonderful and loving care Raymond received. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at Ridgewood Church on Road #311. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7 or to Ste. Anne Hospital, 52 St. Gerard Street, Ste. Anne, MB R5H 1C4.
