WANDA SHARP It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wanda Carmella Sharp on Thursday, November 25, 2010, age 84 years. Predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Thomas, she leaves behind four children: Arline (Jim) of British Columbia, Alan (Brenda) of Saskatchewan, Gail (Brent) of Manitoba, Laura (Tony) of Ontario; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and two sisters. Wanda grew up in Winnipeg, MB and was married in October 1945. In 1974 Tom and Wanda moved to Comox, BC and in 1991 they moved to Mission, BC. Wanda spent many happy hours enjoying her swimming pool with family and friends. Life won't be the same without her sense of humour and love of family. Many thanks to her family physician, Dr. A. Johnson, and the staff of Mission Memorial Hospital and the Christine Morrison Hospice for their loving, compassionate care. A memorial service will be held at St. Matthews Anglican Church, Abbotsford, BC on Wednesday, December 8 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Christine Morrison Hospice.
