Clarence, beloved husband of 44 years to Irene Redekopp, went to be home with his Lord and Saviour on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the age of 71 years. Clarence was born on December 25, 1938 to John and Maria Redekopp. Clarence grew up on a farm near Kelstern Saskatchewan, the 6th of 7 children. He found faith in Christ at an early age which was evident throughout his life. Clarence was primarily self-employed with a variety of business interests. Clarence was a family man who loved vacations, camping, cars, and above all a good laugh. Clarence loved his wife Irene, his children Tony (Terrie) Redekopp, Russell (Rosalyn) Redekopp and granddaughter Kate-lyn Redekopp. Clarence is predeceased by his father, John, his mother, Maria, and his brother, George Redekopp. Clarence is survived by his brothers Adolph (Hilda) Redekopp and Alvin (Irene) Redekopp and sisters Caroline Klassen, Dorothy (John) Wiens, and Evilene (Len) Willems along with numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be made in Clarence Redekopp's memory directly to The Canadian Cancer Society (193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7). A viewing will be held at 1:00 p.m. with a memorial service following at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Springs Church, 595 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg, MB.
