KAY KOLTON Peacefully, on December 3, 2010, with her daughter by her side, at the Red River Place Personal Care Home, Kay Kolton, aged 98 years, beloved wife of the late Metro. Kay is survived by her children Pat (Peter) Bohonos, Richard (Francis), Robert (Arlene), and Roy (Margaret); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Kay was the last surviving sibling of Karoline and Martin Kunz of Camp Morton, MB. Kay was born in Brunkild, MB. She also lived in Rembrandt, Camp Morton, Dnister and Gimli. Kay spent 18 years at Vesterland Villa in Gimli and her final years in the Red River Place Personal Care Home in Selkirk. The family would like to thank all the staff at Red River Place for the loving care they gave our mother. Also, thank you to the doctors in Gimli, Selkirk and the Health Sciences Centre. The family would like to thank all her friends in Vesterland for their care, support and friendship over the years. A special thank you to her friends Emma and Elsie (Alice). A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB, 309 Eveline St. A funeral service will take place on Friday, December 10, at 12:00 noon, in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli, MB, 50 1st Ave., with Rev. David Lowe officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
