PAULETTE VICTORIA KUCBEL (nee SLOBOJAN) Peacefully, with family by her side, Paulette Kucbel passed away at her residence on Tuesday, December 7, 2010. Paulette was predeceased by her father William Slobojan and father-in-law Joseph Kucbel. She will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband Rick, their three children: Michael (Jen), Kristie (Kyle) Rougeau, David, two granddaughters: Emma and Abby Rougeau, mother Mary Slobojan, brother Steven (Beth) Slobojan, niece and nephew: Jesse and Jolene Slobojan, mother-in-law Lydia Kucbel, uncle Victor Tomcko, brother-in-law Dan (Janet) Bryce, sisters-in-law Lori Bryce, Debbie Bryce, Shelley (Darryl) Strand, brother-in-law Randy Bryce and their families. Paulette and Rick spent many happy years at their family cottage in Hillside. She was blessed with two granddaughters which were her heartbeat. She took great pride in spending time as family. She loved her job and the people that she worked with at the Public Prosecutions for the Manitoba Government especially her other children; the articling students and bosses throughout the years. A celebration of Paulette's life will be held on Friday, December 10, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family wish to extend a special thank you to all the family, friends and care givers that have helped during our time of need with their loving care and support.
