FRANK L. SUTHERLAND It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather on Sunday, December 5, 2010, at the age of 80 years, with his family by his side at the Stonewall Hospital. Remaining to forever cherish his memory are his wife Minnie; children Richard (Susan), Shelley (Bruce), Sharon (Deefer) and Derrick; precious grandchildren Travis, Chelsea (Barry), Lee and Vanessa; great-grandchild Devon; sister Millie Huzzey of Winnipeg, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Frank was the Love of Mom's Life and they shared 58 years of marriage together. Frank grew up in Selkirk, MB and was employed by the Manitoba Rolling Mills. He later moved to Stony Mountain and served as a correctional officer for 30 years at the Rockwood Institution. He retired in 1985 and this gave him time to enjoy the great outdoors and his passion for fishing. Well, dad's finally fishing with Eddie again. Dad liked to tinker in the basement with many little woodwork projects. Always proud of his accomplishments and gifts he gave the family. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Stony Mountain United Church.
