Not a day goes by that I don't think of my grandpa. He was the most loving, caring, understanding man I have ever met. His opinion meant the world for me and I will cherish every single moment I spent with him right up to his last. Alone beside your bed I sit To hold your hand and pray That God will grant me benefit To hold it one more day But then I think of where you're going And who you're going to see I dare not ask you to stay Another day with me It's almost time for you to go He's calling you to rest But as for me, He's testing faith Will I stand the test? Of course I will I learned from you To hold my head up high And know that when you have to leave He'll help me say goodbye And though I know that where you're bound Is better than all this It's your loving ways and smiling face That I am going to miss Remember this that I love you And won't beg you to stay But please believe I'll do my best To be with you some day I love you grandpa and words cannot express how much I am going to miss you. Never goodbye always see you later. - Posted by: Suzanne James (grandaughter) on: Feb 04, 2012
