Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSE LUIS TAVARES September 5, 1927 December 8, 2010 It is with sadness the family announces the passing of José Tavares, who succumbed to his short illness at Seven Oaks Hospital. José was born in Rabo de Peixe, Portugal to parents Antonio Tavares Carrita and Cecelia de Jesus Tavares. He immigrated to Canada 31 years ago. He was predeceased by his parents and one brother. José leaves to mourn, his wife of 60 years Maria Conceic o Tavares; four children, Antonio, Joao, Filomena and Zelia and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We thank all the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for all their care. Prayers will be held on Friday, December 10 at 6:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 11 at 9:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. N.
