CLIFFORD RUNDLE MCMURTRY Rev. Dr. Clifford McMurtry, of Tsawwassen, BC, died December 6, 2010 at peace with his life and the world. As a United Church minister he served in the communities of Radville, Wetaskiwin, Moose Jaw, Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Ladner. His ministry was one of compassion and care for the vulnerable. He enjoyed sporting and social activities and was a genuine friend to many. He is survived by his wife, Betty, children Ruth (and Malcolm) of England, Joan of White Rock, Jim deceased, and Rob (and Lynn) of Calgary, grandchildren: Michael, Kristine, and Timothy, also brothers Doug, Ross, sister-in-law, Joyce, brother-in-law, Mac Houston, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, December 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cedar Park Mennonite Church (5300 44th Avenue), Ladner followed by a reception at Ladner United Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mission and Service Fund of the United Church of Canada or another charity would be welcomed.
