Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACOB TOWES FUNK 1925 - 2010 Jake (Jacob) passed away peacefully at the Seven Oaks Hospital on December 8, 2010. Jake is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Irene. Left to cherish his memory are his sisters Maria Peters, Etta Gerbrand; sisters-in-law Dorothy Kirsch, Vonnie Kirsch and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Cornielus in 1962 and his mother Maria Towes in 1992 and infant brother Jake. Jake was a warm, compassionate, loving man with a keen sense of humour. He will be missed by many. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street officiated by Pastor Don Engel. Interment will be a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
