Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALEXANDRA ZUB Alexandra Zub passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital on December 1, 2010. Left to mourn her passing is her daughter Alison; son-in-law Cameron; grandsons, Kevin and Ian; also her brother Ralph Kraychuk (Pauline); and sisters-in-law, Thelma Kraychuk, Mary Swita and Wanda Cooke. She was predeceased by her husband Walter (Laddie) and her brother Russell. Mom was born in Winnipeg on May 2, 1922. She lived in the North End all her life. She was a talented homemaker, baking was her speciality. We could always count on fresh buns, pies or muffins when we came to visit. Mom and Dad enjoyed travelling. They spent many a winter in Phoenix or on Caribbean Cruises with their group of friends. As we celebrate her life we can never forget her kindness and positive attitude. The family would like to thank the staff at Holy Family Nursing Home. The love, devotion and care Mom received over the last four years was wonderful. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Holy Family Nursing Home, 165 Aberdeen Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2W 1T9 or the Alzheimers Society of Manitoba. Funeral service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 10:00 am.
