PETER WALL June 6, 1928 - December 8, 2010 Peacefully, with his wife and family by his side, Dad passed away at Seven Oaks General Hospital on Thursday, December 8, 2010. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Eileen (nee Brown); his children, Jim (Adelia), Ali (Dino), Bert (Brenda), George (Carla), Barry (Andrea), Debbie (John), Patrick (Nancy), Diane (Trevor), Bruce (Laurie), Tom (Shannon), Daren (Lyndy), Allison (Lorne), Joy (Wayne); as well as 26 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Dad's greatest passion was his family. He loved hosting our many family gatherings each year and referred to himself as Chief Cook and Bottle Washer. He planned, shopped and prepared most items on the menu. Dad spent a great part of his life developing and working at his business, Kildonan Garden Supplies. He loved the outdoors and his business kept him busy with landscaping, snow removal and the hauling of scrap metal. His love of the outdoors continued long after his retirement from the business, as his yard always showed immaculate and his garden plentiful. Dad always enjoyed travelling and visiting his friends and family. Dad was a bright light in so many lives; he opened his heart and home to many people over his lifetime. He truly was one of a kind and will be missed by everyone who knew him. He was our rock. Viewing will be prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 13, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, 1050 Thornhill St. in Morden, MB. Interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter's memory would be gratefully accepted and may be made to the Glencross Burial Grounds Perpetual Care fund, available at the service.
