JOHN KRASNIANSKI It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Krasnianski on December 7, 2010. John grew up on the family farm in Dugald, MB where he learned to operate and repair all types of machinery. He became a skilled Journeyman Auto Technician and, like all of his brothers, could build or repair almost anything. He loved and excelled at sports, especially baseball, hockey, curling, and basketball. John's easygoing nature, as well as his readiness to help others, won him the affection and friendship of a wide range of people in every area of his life. John was a devoted husband and a playful and loving father. He loved coaching and helping out at the many activities his children participated in. John worked hard to provide a wonderful life for his family and was always ready to go the extra mile for his many friends. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. John is survived by his wife of 35 years, Debbie, his daughter Diane and his son and daughter-in-law Scott and Sydnee, as well as his brothers Nick and Steve (Verna), father-in-law Gus Gonczy, brothers-in-law Peter (Melanie), Lyle (Angie), and Ralph Gonczy. He leaves many nieces, nephews and friends to cherish his memory. John was predeceased by his parents Stella and Marion, brother Frank, sister and brother-in-law Eleanor and Gerry Poirier, sister-in-law Lois, and by his mother-in-law Dorothy Gonczy. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the staff of Riverside Lions, where John formed many close friendships with the kind and dedicated staff.
