WILLIAM (LAWRENCE) OEHLERKING July 31, 1927 - December 09, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our Dad, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. He has gone to join the love of his life, his wife Cecelia (October 2, 2004). His memory will be cherished by his three daughters, Gloria Pizzy, Doreen (Ron) Hunnie and Marlaine Chanas; brother Allan (Mavis) Oehlerking; sister Alice Shawl; seven grand-children, eight great-grandchildren; many more family members and friends. Lawrence was a proud and generous hard worker all his life, he started out farming then moved on to working the oil rigs, from there he moved onto becoming a grain agent, after retiring he took up hobby farming in Teulon. He enjoyed life to the fullest, fishing, camping, playing cards (drinking beer with his buddies and family), hunting, telling jokes. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the Teulon-Rockwood Centennial Centre, 14 Main St., Teulon, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lawrence's name may be made to the charity of one's choice. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care of arrangements.
